Lucas White, Vice Chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America, will be joining us at the 2022 ICBSD Black Hills Retreat! Lucas will provide an update on what ICBA is doing to ensure community banks can flourish.  He will cover ICBA’s efforts in the areas of advocacy, innovation and education.

Meet Lucas White

White has served as president of The Fountain Trust Company since 2016 and actively practices law in the family firm of White & White Attorneys LLP.

He serves in many leadership roles at ICBA, including as a member of the ICBA Executive Committee and board of directors and as vice chairman of the Federal Delegate Board. He serves on ICBA’s Policy Development and ThinkTECH Selection committees and is Executive Committee liaison to the Legislative Subcommittee. He is also a member of the ICBA Securities board of directors.

A fourth-generation community banker, White is an active member of his community. He is past chairman of the Indiana Bankers Association. In addition, he serves as a trustee of the Booe Inlow d’Arlier Charitable Foundation, is on the West Central Regional Community Corrections board and is a member of the Covington Business Association.

White has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington Maurer School of Law, where he was awarded the Order of the Coif.

He resides in Covington, Ind., with his wife and three sons.
