States with a bigger percentage of community banks had a significantly larger number of Paycheck Protection Program loans reach small businesses, according to a study covered by Fox Business. Nearly three times as many PPP loans were issued in the 10 states with the most community banks per capita, compared to the 10 states with the fewest, according to the study from the Institute for Local Self-Reliance.
