New Main Office and Corporate Headquarters Will Provide Gateway to Downtown Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS — First PREMIER Bank has a long tradition of investing in its customers,
employees and the communities it serves. On Thursday, the organization celebrated another
significant investment as it broke ground on a new main office and corporate headquarters
which will be located at the NE corner of the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and 14th Street
in Downtown Sioux Falls.

First PREMIER Bank President Dave Rozenboom said construction of the five-story building
will begin Monday, March 18, with an estimated completion date of November 2020. Once
open, he said the company’s main office and corporate headquarters will serve as a gateway
to downtown Sioux Falls.

“This project is the culmination of several years of strategic initiatives aimed at positioning our
organization for the future.” Rozenboom said. “We’ve made significant investments to provide
our customers with the best possible banking experience and to provide our employees with
the tools they need to serve our customers well. The growth of our organization and the
continued growth of Sioux Falls make this an ideal time for us to take the next step to expand
our facilities for the future.”

First PREMIER Bank CEO Dana Dykhouse said the need to construct a new main office and
corporate headquarters is the result of significant organic growth and a desire to always
provide the best possible customer service.

“A lot has changed since First PREMIER Bank was created in 1986,” Dykhouse said. “We have
grown from two branches and $250 million in assets to 17 branches and $1.9 billion in assets.
But the one thing that has remained constant is our commitment to building strong
relationships one customer at a time and always doing what’s right for our customers.”

Senior Vice President of Relationship Banking Tony Nour echoed this sentiment. He said that
the new main office will include retail, business and private banking, home mortgage lending,
and trust and investments along with many other support functions, and that both employees
and customers will benefit from this increased synergy.

“Nearly everything we do at First PREMIER is customer-focused,” Nour said. And while our
lobby will feature the latest in banking technology, our strength will continue to be the
personal relationships we develop by knowing our customers and helping them find solutions
for their unique financial needs.”

Nour added the building will house a state-of-the art retail bank designed specifically with
today’s connected consumers in mind. “Online and mobile banking has changed how we do
business,” he said. “We know that we have to be future-focused with our technology and
facilities to continue to meet the needs of today’s customers and employees.”

FIRST Premier Bank was established in 1986, when it was purchased by T. Denny Sanford. The
